THINK PINEAPPLE FOUNDATION

BRANDING + GRAPHIC DESIGN + EVENTS

THE GOAL

Giving back to hospitality through hospitality

In 2020, due to COVID-19, more than 110,000 restaurants had to temporarily or permanently close their doors, leaving over 520,000 hospitality employees without work. With families to support and bills to pay, these individuals were left to struggle and to navigate this crisis with nowhere to turn.

Out of this tragic reality, the Think Pineapple Foundation (TPF) was born. TPF is a socially focused, mission-driven organization established to support local hospitality employees, veterans, and minorities.

From June 2020 to now I have a been apart of the inception, branding, planning, and event execution of this 501c3 non-profit based in Southwest Florida.

THE RESULTS

Impacting the community

The effort I invested with my team played a pivotal role in successfully executing over a dozen charity events such as the Freedom Cup Golf Tournament, Legends Concert Series Beverage, Pineapple Block Party, and Xmas Eve PJ Party, a Hurricane Ian Relief fund that was able to raise over $50,000.

THE WORK

Branding and developing a non-profit

Working for the marketing company that initiated TPF, I had the privilege of spearheading various tasks that encompassed not only developing the branding and essential collateral assets but also collaborating with the teams responsible for organizing and executing charity events aimed at raising funds for our grants and donations.

In my role, I took charge of designing the logo and other crucial brand assets. Additionally, I assumed responsibility for crafting sponsor decks, event flyers, event signage, collateral materials, and ensuring the website remained up to date. During the events themselves, I actively contributed to the setup, breakdown, and point-of-sale operation.

The name "Think Pineapple" come from the pineapple being the universal symbol of hospitality. The events we execute are hospitality based with experience and food & beverage being the drawing attraction that allows us to collect donations.
